About the Breed

The Jack Russell Terrier is a small breed of group 3 (Terriers). They are rustic, charismatic, sociable, healthy and have a lot Of energy. They are extremely intelligent, hygienic dogs that adapt to any space.

The breed had its origin in England by the hands of the Reverend John Russell in the 1800s. The objective was to develop an agile and compact dog that could enter dens to expel foxes and rodents. Later in 1970, Australian breeders decided to join efforts to improve the breed, creating the Australian bloodline, which has dogs more balanced in type and behavior.
